The broken heart of a small child is also very painful.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

One day you will wake up and wish she wasn't all grown up. Enjoy every minute of the journey, you only get one chance. Me and my children spend alot of time together and I love every minute of it. I do not condone beauty pageants, I think they do alot more harm than good. This is her mamas doin. But I wouldnt miss it, its just not easy to sit through.

Dad's love their little girls. Mine is all grown up now too.
And yes, I miss the younger days. Even though at the time I could get aggravated way too easily.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Been there done that. You'll be glad you did when they are headed to college or down the aisle.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I never will understand why folks have beauty pageants. I think it is absolutely awful for a little girls self esteem and promotes everything I never want to see in my daughter. I hate them and I hope I never have to go to another one. But if she wants to do it again next year and her mamas willing to foot the bill, Ill be in those bleachers smiling at my baby and acting like its the greatest thing ever. I would much rather be on the riverbank somewhere or in the shooting house with her though.
