It’s comments like yours that have led most of us to QUIT post game camera pictures.

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Good grief, get your panties out of a wad. I simply pointed out what I did not think looked right. You posted another picture that clearly shows that I am wrong. It is a dang fine deer.

Pointing out things one believes to not be right with the evidence at hand is what should hapen and certainly does not make one a fool. Its how you find out things are true. Would put this country in a better place if did happen more.

Ever read much of Twain? He paraphrased that many times, but never wrote it in that form anywhere known. That is at least in all my previous research on that quote. I like researching common sayings and quotes. Proverbs 17:28 would be a good place to start to look for that true quote.

Obviously you are not one that can accept someone questioning your pictures/thoughts and I apologize for me doing it. I will take that into account in the future.

I also apologize for questioning the Twain quote. Hard to skip a quote ripped off from the Bible.

I understand where Josh is coming from. I posted a picture of a mount on another forum that I took using fill flash to keep the shadows off of it, and was immediately accused of photoshop. He finally said "nice buck" after I posted crappy pictures of the same mount.

If I had wanted to fake something, there are thousands of monster deer pics on the interwebs. Same with Josh.

Josh - I hope all your does are walking funny after the rut!

Will post as much as I like unless Skinny or the mods decide I shouldn’t.

I see your posts and you are normally fair and I enjoy reading your posts. The way people on these boards turn on someone that does not post much versus someone that does is surprising and new over the past few years. Read these boards for years before I joined and obviously do not post my opinion often. I suspect it will remain that way. Carry along.

Buddy I’ve got thicker skin than just about anybody in here (couldn’t survive in the oil/gas industry without it).

The game camera threads have fallen off to nothing over the years. It used to be a great place to see some great bucks. Comments like yours are the exact reason why. I’m a lot of things but a liar and fraud I am not. And when someone insinuates I am then it pisses me off. There are plenty others that feel the same as me.

And yes I’m very familiar with the actual proverbs quote, which in the NIV version references “being counted wise”.

I understand. My apologizies again. I could have phrased is much better to not insuinate anything. I enjoy seeing the pictures as much as any. I was wrong to do it in that way to someone I do not know. Just thought you were pulling our chains. I too take integrity seriously as well. No harm ment on my part. Pride brings me down at times.

Don’t get your panties in a wad 😀I am not “turning on you”. Honestly my comment directed at you to post less was more sarcasm than me being serious. I do think it was silly to think that trail cam pic was photoshopped. No harm done.

Some folks just can't grasp the fact there are areas that grow big bucks in Alabama.

That buck won't be that heavy during the rut. They never are. Chasing takes a toll on their bodies.

2d, there are no resident big deer in Alabama! this one was only vacationing near Troy! grin

I never doubted it for a minute, but I believe in chupacabras and black panthers so what do I know. That thing is a sow for sure. And I ask again, reckon what he weighs?

I would have thought quite a bit bigger. I hope you get to weigh him soon. Ive never seen a buck around here that looked anywhere close to that fat. Good luck.
