Bwood OP 4 point Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 233 HOUSTON COUNTY	What a day... This morning was really slow, a few gobbles but nothing to write home about. So went and ate lunch, came back and figured I'll give it a shot. At 130 I went to the same spot I thought I heard one gobbling this morning. I walked down the road hit my call a few times and boom about 300 yds I hear a gobble. I sat down clucked, purred and yelped for a few more minutes super aggressive. And bam he did it again about 50-100 yds closer so I jumped up snuck another 50 yds and before I could get any closer he shot back lol. So I sat down,propped up the gun and yelped twice and that sucker came in full speed. Dude was horny lol. He took a dirtnap with a quickness. What an experience wow!! My first bird after three years of trying and hunting public land I have never hunted on. I now see why folks lose jobs and ruin relationships because of a damn thunder chicken haha. Needless to say I am one extremely happy camper.
