Native.. Born and raised in Gurley/New Hope area and lived within 10 miles of there my entire life. I work in the office but the heat doesn't bother me too bad. I know atleast 5 generations started up here in North Bama but there is probably a few more. I know I got Indian family that was here but I'm not for sure how far back that was.

I was born in Tuscaloosa, lived in Demopolis for 10 years, and now live in Huntsville. Reckon I'll finish my days here too, unless the good Lord has other plans for me.

Next year when I leave Sand Mexico Mtn I'll rent you my old place that actually is peaceful and the closest Mexican is 500 yards down the road. And they stay down there/never migrate up my way

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Lived in and around B'ham all my life. The heat ain't too bad as long as I get an early start and can acclimate to it gradually. But I do love me some AC.

Moved to Hueytown in 1978 from Oak Creek Colorado when I was 6. The first time I saw Paul Bear Bryant selling Golden Flake potato chips on television I knew I was in God's country.
