Gauging interest here guys....August 9th...Gonna have at it the house at camp(HWY 51 between Midway and Clayton)... I know driving to YEKRUTS is a haul for the southern guys....so we're trying to bring it closer to get some of you involved.... Let me know your thoughts so we'll have an idea where to go with it...

I'm no geography major but I think some of you need a lesson in what "south" means. If you can't smell the salt air and the 105% humidity it produces you ain't in SOUTH alabama. If you can deer hunt there in February than it's south Alabama even though it's 180 miles or so inland from the Gulf.

Prattville south=South Alabama...Alabaster north=North Alabama..Maplesville west=West Alabama...Rockford east=East Alabama..Get a map,draw a circle from Alabaster to Maplesville to Prattville to Rockford and back to Alabaster..Inside that circle is Central Alabama.That concludes your geography lesson today,class dismissed.

We got the camper set up and a roof put over it. We also got some cleaning up and cutting grass/bush hogging done around camp. Come on Aug 9th!

We ready to go with this now.... is it gonna have a AC garage like ole brother Yekruts did? I even replaced the old AC unit with a new unit in the cabin for the ones who can't take the heat...DW.... I got dibs on a chair in the ac cabin. Anybody don't like it. We can settle it.

Paschall, go north of Samson and just above where 134 turns right there will be highway 514 in a curve across from an old peanut yard, turn right and go thru New Brockton, straight on up 51 thru Ariton, Clio, Louisville, and Clayton. They are maybe 5 miles north of Clayton on Hwy 51.
