When I got my bow set up a couple years ago, I had it set to 65# for the practice months... Recommendation was 400 (spline) arrows. I bumped it up to 70# once the season started and stayed with the 400's. I just looked at a chart that recommended 340-370 splines. What's gained by going that route OR what's wrong with sticking with the 400's? Shoots straight and kills stuff already.

First off, it's spine. slap grin

If it's working stay with it. But normally a weak spined shaft is a pain in the arse to tune, especially with a fixed head.

Haha, thanks. I can't believe I spelled spine "spline", and I actually did it more than once. Been running around getting my business straight for tomorrows surgery and stopped by the computer. Amazing that when young, surgery was no big deal, now at 49, it just friggin sux!!!. Plus I know the pain that's gonna follow. Thanks again.

I may buy a few and see what happens when I can shoot again. I think I'm done here for a couple days, had to correct 3 words in one sentence.

Good luck with the surgery. I was 44 on my last one and recovery sucked.

OK, what was the result with your 400 grade arrows at 70? Did they perform well? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
