Yall stay after them. My season is pretty much done. I go back to work tonight and will only be off next Monday night. I could possibly make a quick Tuesday morning hunt but that's about it.
I hope we can hang on. Looks like team 5 is closest behind us last time I did the math. But since the upgrades that Stony and I have added it looks like they would need 3 good birds to catch us. One guy on their team has yet to enter a bird so they have the room to do it but we will see.

I mean Todd, how many chances in your life time does a 4 bearded gobbler get a ride home!! Thank you. I was pretty tickled. That one got a ride home and then a ride to the taxidermist. Glad you were back and able to hunt this year. I know you have been chomping at the bit the last few years. Felt Good to hear some gobbling and see some flopping again I would imagine.

Congrats Scott on your two birds buddy!!! I'm glad you got to be home this spring to enjoy some hunting. We needed your help this year and your two birds have done that. Thanks for staying after them an not giving up.
I've got Nebraska and Kansas on the books for next month so I'm not done just yet. I'm not sure I can up grade but KS might offer some big birds. I know the Merriam will not be high scoring birds but they sure are pretty and fun to hunt.
I'm game for a get together as well.

If another team passes that score all you can do is tip your hat and congratulate them cause that's a pretty stout score. Has any team ever scored over 1000 before? Yelp I agree....it we are beat they earned it. I'm not sure on breaking the 1K mark. Maybe Yekrut can answer that one. I don't think it has ever been done.
