Keep up the good work guys! I know there are some bass fishermen that dont seem to like the bow hunting crowd but I am a big fan. Keeps the trash fish in check which gives other species more food!

Why do bass fisherman not like bow fishing?

A lot of them think the lights and noise scare the bass. I've glided over and past bass on beds. Didn't phase 'em.

I can vouch for the bass that it doesnt scare them. We see a ton of them and they just lay still on the bottom. We have seen some monster bass before and sometimes have to do a double take! We have an airboat with LEDs so there is no loud generator and we love it!

Thanks!! As long as we keep the lazy ones from tossing fish at the ramp we'll be alright, everyone should try it at least once

You would be surprised how many monster bass you can see on any given night. I remember one night during early spring a couple years ago. We were shooting along a deep drop off in Crow Creek on Guntersville. The water was clear and you could see a ton of huge bass suspended along the edge.

Sold mine earlier this year when I hurt my shoulder. I'll get another one next year If I can get healed up. Decided to sit this year out and it sucks.

Oneida is the way to go for bowfishing. It's like shooting a nice double barrel shotgun.
Shooting a wheel bow is like shooting a single shot shotgun

They both work but it's so much nicer shooting a lever bow.

I've got an older model Oneida that I always bowfished with. I haven't been in a couple years due to work and other interests. The new Oneida's feel great, I haven't shot one yet though.

Never understood that. No real bow fisherman has any interest in shooting a bass. A big bass is still smaller than the average trash fish.

I guess there's outlaws in every sport though
