We roosted a bird last nigh and got set up this morning and I felt we had a real good shot at killing him. He was still in the tree and we had two coyotes come in from the opposite way. Normally I would have taken them out but my son is the only one of us to kill a turkey this year so I really wanted to get this one and felt we had a really good chance. So I spook the coyotes back the way they came from and they run off. Then about 20 minutes later a hen appears out of no where. She flies up to the gobbler and they go and pich down across a big creek not on our property. Guess I should have shot the coyotes

The turkey gods frowned on you for passing the opportunity to kill a coyote! That's bad ju ju for sure!

BAD juju, never, ever, never pass on killing a yote....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
