Went back to place where I got on two birds gobbling yesterday, but acted gay and would never really answer me wholeheartedly. I knew one was a really good bird by his gobble though. I did get a glimpse of them at about 80 yards, but they wouldn't commit. I went back in hoping they would be roosted in the same place. They weren't and they were 400 yards back to the north. There was a bird roosted there that didn't talk yesterday and I gave him a go. He hit the ground before the other two and had a mission and left me high and dry. I had a plan though. I knew those two birds weren't acting great and I knew one was a good one by his gobble. I setup in a little woods road at a 3 way intersection and put out B-Mobile and a hen decoy. I've only used a hen decoy once before two springs ago in KS and killed a bird with it. I knew if they would catch site of B-Mobile it would be on. At 10:40, I yelped and few times and cut real loud and within two minutes I see two red, white and blue heads coming on a B line to B-Mobile. They came straight in and bumped chests with the strutter and before they separated, I busted both of them. My 2nd double of the year. Once in Texas and now these two. Bird #1 18lbs 10" Beard 1 1/16" and 1 1/8" Spurs Bird #2 22lbs 10" brush 3/4" Spurs

That's awesome! I sure wish we could do that here in Alabama.
