If not what is the minimum size you would recommend?

Yes. I've put mine on my buddy's before. I have the step on the rear of mine too for the rear seat. Only thing I had to do was ratchet strap the folding gate up because it didn't close all the way, but came dang close.

Depends on the cart...mine was big and had a long heavy steel bed...took a 9' r. Most standard carts will fit on a 8.

I don't know about a golf cart, but I hated the 5x8 I had, I would go at least 5 x 10, everything always seemed too long for the 5x8.

I agree, go 5x10... Unless you already have a 5x8, then I guess just measure the cart.

I've got a club car ds with the fold down rear seat and it takes up my whole 5x10 trailer. Pretty sure it wouldn't fit on a 5x8 without the rear seat

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

6x 10 is way better for a cart esp if it has the fender flares on it

I have a lifted EZ Go with a back seat. I back it onto a 5X10 and can fit a couple of 150 qt coolers in front of it. I let the rear seat overhang the tongue (back it up til the tires hit the railing). I'm betting it would fit on a 5X8 too just no room for anything else. Like others mentioned, unless I already owned a 5X8 I would go with a 5X10. A 6X pulls significantly heavier and I never need the extra width on my golf cart trailer.

On my 5x8 tilt I have to load it backwards or else it will not tilt back upright.
