I've killed 9 mature trophy deer over a 10 yr period in ONE stand! If you know how to scout and work the wind a great hunter has only a few spots! Ask yourself what type of guy needs 25 stands..........thinking...........thinking...........someone that is greedy, hunts too much, or don't know how to scout so the more he has the better his chances! Your only allowed 3 bucks and who shoots more than 5 does a yr? Do the math guys, your butting into something that doesn't concern you! Ivory man let them stir shucks all they want, they haven't even met you or seen the place so.... Probably haven't been laid lately either! Lmao

Good for you But you can't play the wind with just a couple stands there buddy. And just because a guy wants to hunt 7 days a week than good for him. I know plenty of hunting lodges that run 6-15 people a day and still manage to kill some of the biggest bucks taken In Alabama so how can they do this with all the pressure they put on these deer. The Reason Because there guides have more than one stand and the Guides know how to hunt. And a person that wants to hunt more than 7 days is not greedy that is his right and he is a lucky man in my book that's like saying He is having to much Sex. And the Reason he wants to put up 25 lock-ons I am guessing is because it is mentioned there is 2700 acres and he wants to hunt more than 50 acres of it or maybe that is all you are allowed in this club not sure.

#1 the reason plantations have people hunting during the day is because they care less about pressure, they care less if you tag out which most people don't, they have 5 times the land, and they shut down parts of the property and those parts get hunted once every 3-4 weeks! Know your facts! Your not getting the picture here! This is my club, I don't and won't allow anyone that hunts all during the week, been kicked out of numerous clubs, trespasses land to kill turkey's, and has 25 lock ons! That's my choice and I promise you over 90% of the guys on here wouldn't either! This has nothing to do with how people hunt or how many stands they have, I don't give a shucks. You all are upset cause I won't let someone that you don't even know in a club that you don't even know! Idiots

Don't bother Talltines.... Your wasting your time with these "One Stand Wonder Boys". It like telling Jordan his camo is ineffective... Or Scent Lok there clothing doesn't work.... They have to sell clothes.... And these guys have to sell memberships....

If the guy wants to hunt 7 days a week and hang 25 stands there is public lands all across Alabama he has access to. But if Ivory_Man has a land or lease then he makes the rules for those that want to hunt on his land or lease. End of story!

I do Know My Facts Thank you very much. I worked for one of the biggest in the state and Owned my own till a corporation took the lease to run there own Lodge In which they offered me the job to run it for them. I Know all about pressure and land have been there and done that. And We always wanted everyone to tag out or have the opportunity to tag out.

I could care a less about who you let in, You can let Obama in if you want. But to limit someone to say 4 stands will screw up your property more. Why because if he wants to hunt another section guess what he will now have to scout it and set up another stand or move one now, which could screw up the spot he just left also. I would always much rather there be stands that are already set up for the spots. The hunters get in and get out. The guy with 25 stands would put less pressure than the guy with 2.

Not all of us were commenting, just enjoying the show... Now we're idiots?? I could give a #$%# who you let in your club...

FYI.... I only have 21 lock ons and just 1 daughter, so I should meet your qualifications...

No where did I call anyone that wasn't posting an idiot, you just made yourself one! And for the stands we already have 40+ ready to be hunted! That shows that you really have no business commenting! And out of 10 guys that hunt for a week at a plantation 3 will tag out! The fact is what goes on in MY club has nothing to do with any of you that are replying!

I'll start by saying that I don't usually chime in much on any topic unless I can be helpful to someone, however this is my club that's being talked about and I feel I should support Greg for the wonderful job he does in taking care of the place and the time and effort he puts into making sure it stays a great place and to insure that it's smoothly run on a day to day basis and year after year. This 2600 acres is a well managed piece of property that produces trophy deer every year, partly because where it's located and how it's setup, but also because the management practices that the property undergoes and each individual that are willing to play their intricate part in keeping this place maintained and well managed. Some members here play larger roles and others smaller roles however each role is vitally important in keeping this a great place. The only reason we've had a turnover is because a few people couldn't follow the rules therefore after several warnings were given they continued to break rules and ultimately had to be kicked out,. Now up to speed on the current issues I believe it was very wise to have our "options" in who we as club decided would be a best fit to get our club back on track to where it needs to be as far as being filled with the best suited members as possible, if you were not picked, there shouldn't be any hard feelings, as for your personal decisions to pull campers home and terminate memberships and pull your stands from elsewhere, well it sounds to me you had planned on doing that anyways because you're looking for another club, sorry just stating a fact, so there shouldn't be a problem in that area!! As far as money goes it goes into a club bank account and every dollar is accounted for the lease, power, water most important paid then the planting of spring/summer plots as well as fall/winter plots and all the supplemental feeding throughout the year and mineral stations that we just put in three weeks ago. And any additional money that's leftover after all this is said and done you guessed it, it's still in the account and will ultimately be rolled into the club making it only better!! As for anyone sitting on the sideline throwing darts at this club or it's members just stop because this site wasn't designed for that, be mature about matters and be helpful to others because you never know when you'll need the help in return!! Hope all has a great day and great spring turkey season!!

You must have gone to a Crappy lodge. If the guides didn't want people to kill deer they wouldn't be there long for sure. Plus the way a guide makes his money is by Tips an unhappy hunter won't tip. Our kill rate was in the 60% range which is pretty dang good for free range and 3 year old or better and the other 40% usually had the chance at bucks but would pass for bigger. And you made it our business when you posted for openings on a public forum so anybody and everybody has the right to reply how they see fit. And it is your place your rules I do Agree with that.

Hunt all he wants during the weekend, and we know people have vacations! We don't accept people that hunt during the week while everyone is working! A day here or day there during the week is ok! That's our choice cause you know why........ It's my land! That's why
