The boy and i came close this morning but no cigar. Cody was focused in the direction of one tearing it up and didnt notice one slip in to our left. Felt good to get back at it.

Man it was a tough weekend for us... Gobbling hard on the limb and then turn into Ninjas as soon as they hit the ground... But man it sure was nice to get out there!!

Good to hear you guys are hearing some hard gobbling. I can't wait to get after them myself soon.
I am going to close with a message....We all better bring our A game this spring if we want to hang on to the title. Looking over and reading through some of the team threads we have a very big bulls eye painted on our backs. Also there are some stacked teams that will give us a run. Looks very competitive this year and we will have our work cut out for us.

Got us on the board. Pictures and story in Turkey forum. Scored 64.75. 17lbs 4oz, 11 1/4 inch beard and 1 1/4 spurs.

Make that 3 guys. I'm on the board as well. I pulled the trigger one #1 of the season a few minutes before 7. He's 20.2# 1" & 7'8" spurs with a 10" beard. I'm headed to my new Lamar Cty least to check it out this afternoon. I haven't even looked at the place. Congrats Todd & Stony on y'alls birds!!!!

Had a VERY frustrating morning of hunting.
Heard the most birds I've ever heard.
Not one on my club. Went after four different birds,
Only to come to the property line.
No doubt the area has tons of birds.
