I betcha the Motts in that area are looking for someone to share the costs of their property. They seem to always be looking for someone to hunt with the wife.

Beans, I can't go to bed knowing that you may think I'm serious. There are several folks on Aldeer that know the Motts that used to run (in the ground) Riverdale Hunting Club. I wasn't serious in my previous posting but I do know that the Motts still hunt in that area and every year, they're looking for folks to help pay their lease. Just get folks' opinion before you do anything with anyone named Mott. Quality advice there!

Stay away from the Motts!

If you claim to be a Christian then why do you act like the devil? You will be known by the fruit you bear!

The stories you'll hear about the female Mott will BLOW-your-mind. I'm not talking about "crazy" kinds of stuff but downright mean, accusatory, greedy, abusive, etc... to the point where I have had grown men tell me they had to run away from the situation (confrontation between them and the female Mott) because they were afraid they would punch her. "Her"... well, she is no lady. I can't believe Riverdale Hunting Club lasted as long as it did with her running the show but the Motts were always looking for members every year until their reputation finally caught up with them. And that's when I got involved without adequately researching the history of RHC and committed a lot of money, time and effort in making it happen and to my dismay, this lady... well... this "living organism" ruined it all. The hunting was so good that people just put up with her.

Beans, you are reading this and thinking that it's a little bit of exaggeration... but it is NOT. RHC did finally come to an end and the Motts lost most of the 6500 acre lease and the Motts threatened to sue the group of hunters that eventually took over the lease. The Motts claimed that the group conspired to get the lease but that is not what happened and selfish reasons of the Motts and the actions of the female Mott, is why the group of hunters in the club decided not to get back in RHC and the Motts, fortunately, had to come to the realization that their reputation was so bad that they could not find members to pay for the lease so they lost the land. The Motts held on to some of the land as it's owned by a family friend but they need help leasing the property they held on to. I'm here to make sure the Motts will never trap unsuspecting, innocent good people into their web. And the thing about my rant, the Motts are MUCH worse than I can describe. Especially the female Mott. There are so many past hunters of RHC that very much would agree with me and dislike (to put it nicely) the female Mott. The Motts will probably want to sue me about this posting but the number of people that would collaborate this story would be many. The Motts have been sued at lease once that I know of by past members.

When I took over the "responsibility of the lease" (I didn't get the lease in my name and that was a big mistake and life lesson), I needed members so I came on this site and put an ad needing members and that's when I realized I had really messed up by getting involved with the Motts. But, I was financially already committed. The number of phone calls I got from past hunters of RHC recounting horror stories about the Motts was unbelievable. It was so bad, I had to change the name of the club.

At first, when I first met them, the couple was so nice to start with and I took their word for what they said but I quickly learned a life lesson. For me, it was a horror story and I want to make sure no one goes through my experience that I had with the Motts.

Of course, the aforementioned is my opinion... and the opinion of many! No... many, many. wink
