I'm fine with anything. Just threw out a few suggestions to get us started.
The main thing I'm ready for is the chasing of turkeys. I cant wait much longer. You guys gonna get to much? Got a lot of birds on your places? I was able to enter at least 3 in this contest the last couple of years, but to be honest....I'm really unsure how this season is gonna go. I know I'm not gonna get to go as much as the last 2 years due to some big changes in my family, but I'll still try to help the team all I can. It seems like we're really blessed with a good many birds up this way these days.

I'll be going as much as I possibly can get away....Between work and a 20 month old my time is in high demand....I usually manage to be able to work in several mornings before work though....Hopefully, I'll be able to get on a few birds that actually want to play the game this season..... Last year was my worst year in recent memory. I couldn't hunt hardly at all and couldn't find a go bling bird to save my life. I killed 2, missed another, and called in two for others. Sounds like a great season to me!

I've always said, the hardest part of turkey hunting is having turkeys. I haven't had access to private land birds in a while. I'll be hunting public land, mostly. I've been snakebite on the public land I hunt. I'll call up several groups of birds a year, but just can't get a shot. Maybe this year will be different. I'm going out of state for the first time this year. Good luck guys. Maybe I'll be able to add to the mayhem.

You talking about the same "work" for which you've got about 10 weeks worth of vacation saved up? Don't be an excuse making wuss. Make it happen fat boy.

I'm here & accounted for. I live in Rainbow City. I do the bulk of my hunting around piedmont. After I signed up for the contest my 12 year old decided he wanted to play travel basketball. Looks like I'll be burning up my vacation days chasing the birds. Looking forward to it guys.
JR I hunt quite a bit up your way, you hunting private or nf?

I'll let you know, I'm in the process of reacquainting myself with places I haven't hunted in 4 or 5 years, but I heard 5 last Saturday, and 2 Sunday. The only problem is these birds are too easily accessed. I'll let you know If I find anything worth a crap.
