Sorry for not posting this earlier( I just got a photobucket acct)but I finished this one off back in July down in Greene County after someone else had already shot him x2 in the head with his 22 pisol and he then ran out of boolits. I grabbed my glock 40 cal outta my truck and gave him the cu-de-gras....and yes, he was still alive after those two 22 rounds in him!! He was a LARGE timber rattler and we didnt know it but he had been under the hunting cabin all morning and we all were in and out of the cabin all morning, we were very very lucky that no one got tagged that day because he would have made someone have a very bad day . About 15 to 16 rattles on him and he was just under 6 ft long....it scared the bjesus outta me when I first saw him and I had my check underwear light come on a couple times that day!!! Yall PLEASE be careful out there and watch where you step when it starts warming up again!!!

That is a BIG one! Few years ago we were bushhogging our fields in Maplesville. A Storm earlier in the Summer had blown down a shooting house onto a food plot, so we had bushhogged around it, then were gonna hook a chain to it and drag it out of the field into the weeds. I had been all around that thing to tie the chains, and I was just worried about wasps / yellowjackets. When he moved that sucker with the tractor there were two big rattlesnakes beneath it. They were not that big though!
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Monster timber rattler, one bumping 6'feet is huge. Longest I've ever killed and even seen was 66" minus the head, but he was skinny as a black racer, he was dang close to 6'. Them thangs are scary!
