Haha! This is great! I can't wait to hear all the crying from the auburn fans over this. We have already heard the Bama fans (Saban included) cry about it. Those teams with them hurry up offenses are just too fast, it's not safe for the defense, we can't beat those kind of offenses, that is not how football is suppose to be played. Was you saying something about somebody crying?

I can't wait to hear all the crying from the auburn fans over this. It's not Auburn people that are crying. Apparently little Nicky is the cry baby on this one. And trying to frame this like the concern is player safety. LOL! Where is the data showing more defensive injuries in games against HUNH offenses? More faked injuries to stop the clock maybe but no more real injuries. Total horse s##t.

so you penalize a team for snapping the ball too fast? basically screwing teams that are behind and well there goes the two minute drill Read, don't just gripe. From the article: "with the exception of the final two minutes of each half, starting with the 2014 season."

If the new rule means that refs are in proper position to make calls that were regularly missed like illegal motion, ineligible receivers downfield, too many men in the backfield, etc, then I'm all for it....or add two more refs. Biggest problem I see with it is that there were LOTS of missed calls that should have been easily seen by a referee crew in position to make calls.
