Best to prepare today, better safe than sorry. Plenty of fire wood, gas bottles full, a big pot of chili or something & a way to reheat, candles, batteries, radio/scanner, ect... We may be several hours without power if the ice storm does form. We were caught by suprise in 93 with several days with no power, I tend to be more prepared now.

Get some real gasoline for your generators
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

The local guy up here in huntsville (brad Travis waff) is saying someone is probably gonna see heavy snow tomorrow and there is a chance for an ice storm he just isn't sure of the location yet. He said earlier that it looks like anyone along the Tennessee river will see possibly 6" or more snow. The ice predictions seemed to be a little further south of the TN river
We are not perfect, only forgiven!!!

I wouldn't get to worked up about it... We are talking about people that get paid to be wrong 50% of the time. I wouldn't either, be like the Blizzard of '78 in the North when 100,000 people walked off and left their vehicles in streets and interstate because they couldn't go anywhere.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.
