I put 265/75R16's on my son's truck back in August of last year. No complaints so far.

I'm also running the Kumho Road Venture AT KL78 285-70-17 on my 07 Suburban. I bought them on Tirebuyer. I only have 20K on them, but they seem to be holding up well. I was thinking about buying a set of them for a Toyota I am building 35/12.50/15. Do you know how they do in the snow ? I found them on tirebuyer a while back, but are unavailable for my shipping area.Found them on another site for $80 less shipped.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

GoodYear are JUNK.I like Cooper/Mastercraft when it comes to truck tires. The AXT and AT3 are very similar there is a difference on the tread. Both are a 50k tire but if taken care of and rotating and keeping them balance 70-80k is not out of the question. I got 285/70/17 goodyear duratracs on F150 and so far I got 40,000 on them with prob 15,000 more tread to go. They look alot better than any cooper or mastercraft too. I dont run tires based on looks. I look at performance and durability. And selling tires for a living Good Years are junk.

My brother runs a tire shop here in Auburn and put 285 AT3's on my silverado 2 summers ago and they have barely worn any and i travel from Auburn to Montgomery a lot. They also perform very well off road. No complaints from me.

Doekiller- Have you looked at the Nitto Terra Grabblers? I've for them on my F150 and have gotten around 50k on them with a little left to go.
I'm putting 275/65/20 Trail Grabblers on in the next month or so. I have but they are a lot more expensive than the coopers.

I am going to order me some next week. Cheapest I found the 265-75-16 was at simpletire.com. (Thanks Swampy) $571.34. The mastercraft were $515.98 delivered. They were $679.00 at discount tire direct. I am going to call them and see if they will match the price since I have bought from them before. I hit the 'match price' button and they called me back in 12 hours. Turns out that they were cheaper after shipping cost added but he still sweetened the deal by $20.

Do the T3's or ATP's perform off road as well as BFG AT?
I'm not very tire savy, I've had the BFG's on my Dailey driver for the past 8yrs or so. I'm not sure my current set is the same quality my previous sets were. In my opinion, the AT3s are better. And it seems that the quality of the BFG ATs have gone down hill over the years. Buy them local. Yeah you may save a little money getting them online, but someone has to mount and balance them, and most offer free rotations and such. Worth it in my opinion.

I have the AT3 on my Z71 and like them Me too ... I love mine. Got me around pretty well in the ice and snow last week.
