I have 31-10.5-15 Michelins on my 2000 model. They are getting pretty slick so I need to replace them. At 205k, I don't want to spend that kind of money on another set. I put a set Mastercraft on the 4runner my wife had a few years ago & they seemed to be good tires, at least they rode good. We didn't keep the truck long after so I don't know how they hold up over time.

We have 2 sets of atp. One is 265/75/16 with about 40k on our work pickup. 03 sierra 4x4 xcab. From the looks of what tread is left should get in mid 50k range. Decent off road traction, only been stuck getting in and out of log woods one time and that was a frame out. Other set is 285/75/16 on a 2500 HD scab 4x4. Less than 10k on them and no sign of wear. Ride really good for 10 ply. Take a look at the Kelly Safari TSR. Great riding tires and a little rougher tread. How much running left in those 285 mud tires? my 285 mud tires are past there useful life. I ran them just about bald.

Looking for a set to run on spare wheels for hunting season.

I run a 265-75-16 ATP(from DTD)on my daughters 2 door Tahoe and I run the Hankook ATM on one of my Suburbans. Aren't your current mud tires Hankooks?

GoodYear are JUNK.I like Cooper/Mastercraft when it comes to truck tires. The AXT and AT3 are very similar there is a difference on the tread. Both are a 50k tire but if taken care of and rotating and keeping them balance 70-80k is not out of the question. I got 285/70/17 goodyear duratracs on F150 and so far I got 40,000 on them with prob 15,000 more tread to go. They look alot better than any cooper or mastercraft too.

Don't count on getting your rebate...... It is instant rebate, as in you pay 50 less than advertised price. I'd say your odds are good of getting it.

I'm also running the Kumho Road Venture AT KL78 285-70-17 on my 07 Suburban. I bought them on Tirebuyer. I only have 20K on them, but they seem to be holding up well.
