Spent 6hrs in juvenile lock up at Shelby co SO. My mom worked with chief of polices wife do no charges filed. That situation didn't slow me down. I had several close calls drinking and driving. I was an idiot that played hard when I was younger and was lucky I survived as I have burried more than a handful of buddies. The thing that helped me grow up was marrying a crazy woman that had lived a long way off from my home town and far from my runnin buddies. and even though she was crazy, she straightened me up. We had my son and eventually we divorced a couple years later. But I still have a great relationship with my son and know that lifestyle is not for me anymore., Majority of my old buddies are either dead are in prison. If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H. I was about 17 back in the 70's in Boaz. Luckly for me the policeman that stopped me coached me in pony league baseball and knew my Daddy. Well he rode me in the front seat home and had his partner drive my car home. Lucky for me Mommy and Dad wasn't at home! He said have your Daddy come done to the station and get your driver license tomorrow! The hardest thing i ever had to do was tell daddy to go get my drivers license at the Boaz police station! That slowed me down for a while! Things were a lot different back in those days.

We were released without bail after a couple of hours. Charges were dropped in court. Probably because one of the city council members son was also arrested. Started racing at the tracks after that ! The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
