they could reciprocate with making noise to interrupt his hunting. If TN's neighbors intentionally do this to bother or interrupt his hunting, they're in violation of the state's hunter harassment law. And counter to your position is the harassment of the neighbors by deer rifles shot that close to another's home. Six in one, half a dozen the other. No difference between the two in this specific situation. I wouldn't quit yer day job, you suck as a lawyer.....

I personally can't stand them, but I can see where a good one would have a field day with this situation. People have the right to privacy on their own property AS LONG AS THEIR ACTIVITIES ARE NOT HARASSING OTHERS. Somebody shoots a deer rifle that close to my house is harassing me and my family period, end of story. You might not like that but tough shucks!

Ima bet they are going to have a corn feeder in their back yard, then what? Is your "screen" going to make it legal for you to hunt that field? Cut your losses, make good with your neighbor or you could be titty nipple deep in something you want no part of.

Pussywillow. Everbody wins. Just don't plant them next to the dick weeds. They will multiply like democrats. Go to lowes and buy the 20 cheapest plant you can find. Rip off the tag and make your own that says kudzu. If nothing else it will get their blood pressure up.

People have the right to privacy on their own property AS LONG AS THEIR ACTIVITIES ARE NOT HARASSING OTHERS. Somebody shoots a deer rifle that close to my house is harassing me and my family period, end of story. You might not like that but tough shucks! Persons engaged in lawful hunting activities on their property or property they're allowed to be on are not harassing anyone when going about their lawful hunting activity. It's only when it becomes a purposeful intent to harass that it crosses the line. As Reyn noted, that might be tough to establish. You may not like it. Call the po-po all you want. But as long as they're legal and not endangering anyone, you're probably going to be out of luck.

I know this is a little different situation. John Gallaher had a family buy the land across the road from him a few years ago. He went over and introduced himself. He informed them that he was a gunsmith and would be using his shooting range in his back yard. He was nice about it and they understood that he would be shooting a lot. They built their house across the road and he hasn't had any problems.

They haven't started building yet and I have already secured some old tennis court screen. I just have to set the post and hang the screen as soon as it's taken down. I haven't seen the neighbor since that day so that's about it.

60 yds from there front porch hmm this isn`t going to be a good place to hunt, I can just imagine guns shooting four wheelers, chain saws running ,regardless of what you plant or what type screen you use Ive got a stand in a water oak about 50 yards from my back door that is one of the hottest spots ive ever seen. I only let people bow hunt from it but it is one of those where you are almost sure to see something. never boring, and it seems to be as good if not better when the young'uns are out in the yard playing. my buddy shot one there at 7 15 this morning and if he finds him, that will be the 6th from that little stand this year.

Well it only took a year and a half but she gone. Never got water or power hooked up and she was there till may but the trailer has been pulled. Glad I didn't spend a bunch of money on a screen.

You better mortgage something to buy that place if it's available. The only way to control it is to own it.
