I have a neighbor building a house 50 yards off the property line and it's where one of my fields is. They have started clearing trees where they have a view over my green field and a good view for a house but I will not allow them to look over my property. I talked to the people today and was talking to the lady and told her I know they want the view but unfortunately I would be screening it. What are some temporary screens I can put up to block my side? I will be planting a screen of trees and shrubs but need something immediately. They will love me in dove season as this is one of the fields we shoot over. We will literally be 50 yards from there house and my shooting house will be a little over 60.

I have spent a lot of money on my property what they do on there property is there business. They will literally be 60 yards from my green field something I can't move. Would you like a house 60 yards from you them looking at you while you hunt your property? I may be a jack arse but oh well.

Is hunting that close to an occupied house even legal? In Florida you have to be at least 100 yds from a road or occupied residence.
If you put up the screen you will probably piss off your new neighbors which ain't good. Recovering game, especially since they are so close to where you are hunting, will be a no-go. I would become friends with the new neighbors, offer a hunt on your place, and work things out in another way. The route you are choosing ain't good.

Leyland cypress the ones i planted to block out the view from the house beside me and they are over 30feet tall and says they can get up to 40. Plant them close togetherand they will grow into each other and you wont be able to see anything. if you water them they will grow faster.

If you want to piss them off, go to walmart and buy several blue tarps and string them up across the property line with some 4x4 post and cable. Then plant cane for a permanent blind.

A thin strip of the Egyptian Wheat and a couple of rows of Leyland Cypress tightly planted, it will take a couple of years for the Cypress to fill in and the wheat will make cover the first summer.

Do not plant cane. You will never get rid of it.

I have a l shaped field that runs the property line 50 yds and extends out on a ridge 100 yards. They are building in a horse pasture with sporadic 20 year old pines between there house and the property line. They wanted the view to be able to see the valley where my property and others meet beautiful view. They are removing trees and limbing them so they will be looking at my field and the view. They will be in the yard and have dogs so I would like to be screened off so me hunting and deer feeding are disturbed as little as possible. It wouldn't bother me if there was a wooded buffer between us but there isn't it's wide open. I really didn't expect them to build there or I would have re thought my field lay out even though it would still have been wide open for several years since I planted long leaf. If this makes more sense.
