Gonna order a new one. How long does it need to be? Any recommendations? My bow is 62 amo if that helps and is 45# @ 28 inches. I also need a new arrow rest since mine broke today. It had a Hoyt on it. Also does anybody know what those rubber things that go on the string are that are formed to your fingers if you don't want to shoot a tab?

The longer it is the more forgiving it is. Most people shoot off the shelf. They are called finger slicks but you would be better off shooting a good tab
We will burn that bridge when we get there

The length of your draw can help in determining the length of the bow. If you have a draw length of 28 inches, then a recurve that is 56 inches long may cause you some serious finger pinch due to the string being at such a steep angle when at full draw. I draw 25 inches and used to shoot a 56 inch recurve. I now shoot a 62 inch recurve. Yes it is more forgiving but if you can get away with a shorter bow then I would do it as it will be easier to shoot form a tree stand or from a kneeling or sitting position.
What is your draw length?

But who prays for Satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?
