What kind of buck sign do you hunt over for the best luck?

I've never had any success hunting rubs or scrapes. But the cameras certainly are successful on scrapes.

I've done well over HOT scrapes pre-rut, but when breeding really starts rockin' I hunt doe groups. Note HOT. There is usually scrapes in the area where I hunt when breeding is on, but that's not the only reason I hunt there. I like to have big rubs in the area but I really don't hunt them per-say. Here's something to remember, don't fall in love with scrapes and rubs when breeding is hot and wide open, you can miss the best time of the whole season. If sign isn't smokin' hot move on and find some that is or hunt does when the bucks are lookin' for love. Good luck to ya.

hunting over rubs between bedding areas is good for me in the pre-rut, seems like only young bucks visit scrapes at day below kentucky
