Sat in a small food plot this evening. Had three does come in about 50. Watched them work their way to range for about 5 mins. One of them spotted me and we had a staring contest for about 1 min. I needed her to walk about 10 yards to get past limbs. Well she almost makes it and looks right back at me. I stood as still as I could while we stared at one another for about 3 mins. She stomps her foot three times and I though it was over. She puts her head back down and I get drawn. I let it fly and shoot right over her back. I was so mad at myself. I just rushed it because she was down wind and had already spotted me. First deer I have missed with a bow in a long time. I sit back down and about 10 mins pass and here comes another one. She walked to 25 yards and she wasn't so lucky. I was so pumped to get to redeem myself. The Rage hypodermic was mean to her. She didn't even make it out of the food plot!
