Its 5:50 and I just got settle in my stand came back to the same pot I was in yesterday morning where I seen 3. its real foggy this morning so I'm hoping with all this fog it kept the deer bed down during the night. 46° here a lil cooler than usual so maybe they will be up and roaming this morning!!

Same conditions here in talladega but not quite so cool. Looking for a good morning. Set up between a field and a thicket.

I'm set up on top of a hill a few white oaks that has acorns dropped. It drops down to a good size creek. I'm hoping I can catch them coming up out of the bottom to feed! I believe when I get done hunting this morning I'm gonna go walk the creek and find where they are crossing. Its about 15 yards wide 2' deep

Had to shoo off two deer eating white oaks this morning. Finally left when I started climbing the tree, never did snort. 40 yards off paved road just the way I like it.

2 young does fed their way by me a few minutes ago. One of them was at 30 yds, but was behind a bunch of limbs from me...another group of hens just came by too

I'm going to sit here a while. I think they probably moved all night long with the full moon last night, so they may move good mid-day today???

I just had a big doe and a fawn coming right to me, but they were straight downwind. They got to 50 yds and the doe knew something was up. They eased back toward where they came from - that's my Dad's direction, so maybe they'll go by him!

I'm setup in another ladder stand this evening...lots of white oaks around, but very few seem to have acorns this year. This has been a great bow stand over the years and is about 300 yds from the 'raining' white oaks I hunted this morning - my Dad went to that stand this afternoon. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch one coming/going toward him.
