Preacher........... Tommy gave me some of those 4's to try out for home defense and coyote loads. Hal's 13/16 oz .410 load would have 68 pellets of TSS #4 . Seems to me like that would be a tremendous amount of firepower at short range from a taurus judge or any of those other .410 revolvers.
Might load a couple of 2 1/4 oz 12 gauge shells with them. I would almost bet money that would be a dead coyote every time at 100 yards+ if you could figure out the holdover.
You got me thinking though, an ounce if 4's over an ounce and a quarter of 9's would be 533 pellets. Any load over 500 pellets is plenty good enough to hunt turkeys with. If you used those little 9's Hal gets it would be a little over 600 pellets. I wouldn't seriously wanna hunt turkeys with it cause if feel like I was wasting my shot but if it came down to it I'd still rather shoot that load than anything that could be bought from a factory.

It would probably make a real good deer/turkey combo load for anybody with a fall turkey season whistle

MFK may be a young'un but I believe he's done learned some slick tricks. If I didn't know better I'd think he was holding out on us on that other picture thread.

Well I've been gone for a few days, this has been very entertaining. I struck a nerve and he had told everyone on here how he is a stone cold killa including pics of probably just 3 different birds. If I did kill over my limit I probably would not post pics of my name and number. Thats just me.lmao

You got me thinking though, an ounce if 4's over an ounce and a quarter of 9's would be 533 pellets. Any load over 500 pellets is plenty good enough to hunt turkeys with. Those tss#4 in a Judge would be super defense round. Or offense round either, for that matter. Don't let the bad guys get ahold of these things.

And I think that combo would be a very effective turkey killer. Heck, 2 oz of tss#4 would be miles better than the 2 oz of #4 lead I used to sling at them. And you are right, it would be a great coyote load. Good luck with it!

Brent, would that be a good load for .410 single shot for turkey? My son is struggling with a 12 gauge and I don't have a 20 gauge yet. just asking. I guess it would have to be custom loaded if so?
