My son and I went to Marks during the holidays and spent some time shooting at their new indoor range, and I now want to build my own. Has anyone here built one? If so, what did you use as a backstop? Mark's has the Spyderweb targets, but I just looked them up and they are very pricey. I have about a 20 yd long shot in my basement and want to build a target wall on one end. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated...Huntr

My indoor shooting range is only 7 yards above my garage. I hung a bag target from the ceiling.

I helped build the indoor range at Custom Archery Center. Made a plywood box about 18 to 24 inches thick tightly stuffed with fabric. Use a piece of foam for the target face. Several layers of 3/4 inch plywood in the wall behind the target for those "oh no" shots.
