after the wife and i got do eating a rosies, then we went to dick's i bought some rage hypodermic's with all their bling, and a bottle of bone collector scent remover, and a thermacell refill kit.so now i am done buying ,the picture does not do them justice the points are very sharp needle points, and the blades are sharp enough to hunt with.only cost $44.99 for three broad heads and a practice head. thumbup on the packing it say best penetration ever since the history of rage.it does not say for deep six, so i finally got them screwed into my carbon express terminators.i believe these 2" cut broad heads will be the bomb for this year.they look a lot tougher than in the past heads, all stainless steel. construction. no aluminum to break. these blade are trimmed back compared to the past one that were so long and flimsy, now they are shorter and stubby a lot stronger.the blades are .035" thick 2+" cut.3 broad head and one*1) practice point.i have the chisel tip three blade for my crossbow and these i bought tonight for my compound plus a dozen slick tricks. and a dozen of muzzy mx3 all of them are 100 grain.

drew you asking about the rage? around a dozen. YES I DO have enough arrows between the gold tip and carbon express arrows yes sir i do.add another half dozen to night i bought the extreme for 29.00 and change the hypodermics need to be sharpened but these extreme are shave sharp in the package.i got the black ones 125 grain, for more momentum , out of my 9.5 grain per inch arrows.these things are scalpel sharp.i have to be extremely careful with them or i could be bleeding soon.

Do you have enough arrows for all those broadheads?

it says rage HD Standard 100G meaning they are not deep six heads, i guess.i agree the muzzy is cheaper than the expandable by far.my slick trick have a 2" cut so do my slick tricks. the difference is the hypodermic for now are 2 blades cutting, but my slick tricks have 4 blades cutting. so with them both being 2" cut i feel i will be fine with either depending on shot placement. both heads put in the heart, the deer won't go far. the hypos are plated stainless steel very shinny, lots of bling. grin plus you got to sharpen them.PAUL- YOUR BUDGET IS THIN. you might be surprised at how much this stuff cost.

Mike I'm picking up my bow Saturday morning then heading to Backwater with it to get a release, maybe a new sight, some arras, and some broadheads. As far as the arrows/heads go I really don't know what to get ... what would you suggest? I've got about $100 budget for the arrows/heads

Are you looking for 100 or 125 gn heads?

I assume 100g since its for a compound bow not a crossbow. To be honest I'm really not sure. I'm buying a bow this Saturday from a member here, will be my first bow and first deer season with it

Cheapest you will probably find is Muzzy.
Several threads about Slick Trick Mags and their flight being very close to field points, if not identical. I have killed deer with Rage 2 and 3 blades, but switched to Slick Trick.

I got a pack of the hypos awhile back and they do look impressive. However I believe I'm liking the Ramcats a little more right now.
