Well I took my son back today. Was worried about gas or bleach because I didn't want to push any up in the walls. I threw two raid bombs under there and set off two inside at the same time. Nothing came out. We beat on the sides to try and make them rattle. Nothing. So I start removing the 'skirting', thinking that it being there made it dark and cool, an ideal environment to begin with, so we're getting rid of that! When I pulled off the end that gets the least sun there were two young ones coiled up right behind it. Drag them out and kill them bastages then remove the rest of the material from the bottom. They start coming out. But mom is nowhere to be seen. Finally Marc sees her holding up right in the center. He wore her azz out with his M&P 40! We got her and 7 little ones about a foot long. I know there was at least one that we never could get to. I put a large box of moth balls under there, and came home. Plan to try gas next week now that we've killed a bunch of them. Thanks for all the input. We did pull everything out from under there and away from the building.

I'd have dirt around those trailers instead of grass. And more ammo.

rattle headed copper moccosins seem to love fresh dirt. We always find them when we turn or disk plots.

The rest of the pieces were too little we went bonkers on them. I should have taken a photo of all the carnage around the building though!

Ain't there some kind of good snake (like a king snake, maybe) that eats bad snakes?

Could you relocate a couple there to "patrol" during the week when you ain't there?

Keep the area as clean as possible and keep the grassed mowed as short as you can. If you store corn around the area, it could be attracting mice and rats. Get rid of that. Are there gopher turtles in the area? The holes they dig are ideal rattlesnake habitat, too. I know people that have had gophers move into their area and all of a sudden they start seeing lots of rattlesnakes.

It may sound absurd but I know it works. One garden sprayer with plain ammonia and one garden sprayer with clorox.DONT MIX THEM BEFORE USE!!! Spray them under the house and get away!dont breathe the fumes just spray and get away.I got a skunk out from un der my house by using this method. It never came back.

I dont know if there is any truth to it or not, but I have always heard on diamondbacks the females will have heart shaped "diamonds" while the male is an actual diamond?
