I'm not very rough on coolers I guess. I've got three Coleman or Igloo coolers at the house (Big, medium, Small) that I've had for at least 10 years or so. Never broke them, never snatched the lid off. They hold Ice for a 2 days max in the summer. BUT...I don't use them every day though. I don't even use them often at all...a few times a month. If I were in and out of a cooler all day long or multiple times a week for long periods of time, then a high quality cooler would make sense. Plus I could be in the club

If I'm beating a dead horse just tell me. Are the Yeti coolers worth the extra money ? Yes, you're beating a dead horse. The good news though is your Yeti will keep that sucker fresh for several more beatings to come. It will keep grizzly bears from getting to it too.

Just picked one up yesterday. Hadn't had to have ice yet(that's a change from my igloo). Suckers heavy though. .Just remember if its in the garage & the cooler gets warm throw you some ice jugs in it to help cool it before u put ice in it..Or just put a bag of ice to sacrifice, them walls are thick helps cool it down
