I live in the uppermost part of North Alabama and it makes me laugh inside when I see Salt Life stickers on vehicles (mostly minivans). I know most of the people that have them don't go the the coast more than once a year. It also reminds me I want one of those stickers that say 00.0 on it. You live on North Sand Mountain? Hightop?

I live in the uppermost part of North Alabama and it makes me laugh inside when I see Salt Life stickers on vehicles (mostly minivans). I know most of the people that have them don't go the the coast more than once a year. It also reminds me I want one of those stickers that say 00.0 on it. You live on North Sand Mountain? Hightop? Sorry, by uppermost I meant a few miles away from the Tennessee line northeast of Huntsville.

I have a salt life t-shirt a few Guy Harvey shirts and the Columbia style fishing shirts.I wear what I wear because I like it and not to impress people or to make people think I'm something I'm not.I could spend the rest of my days on the coast and be slap tickeled although I would have to come back north for hunting season.

I don't get the "Salt Life" gig either. My wife wanted to buy me a shirt at Academy in Auburn last night and I politely declined. Why not "Chocolate Life" or "Baseball Life" or "Auburn Life" or "Deer Life" or "Buck Life"? But my favorite is "Jesus IS Life"! Enough said!!!!
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
