One night several years ago we were playing a team from Huntsville and they were having a hard time with us. We were having our way with them and there was not much they could do about it. I was in the press box and heard their coach, who was black, in the booth tell the head coach, who was black, over the head phones "tell that [********] to run 38 wide out right". The coach in the booth looked at me and said "they aint gonna' run that because the quarterback says the [********] won't block for him". I had tears rolling out of my eyes that night listening to that coach call plays. He was one of the funniest young men I have ever met in my life. He didn't care what he said and to who. I still get to see him about once a year and I remind him of what he told me that night in the booth. He just laughs and smiles.
