I'm looking for a good quality, comfortable, LIGHT climbing stand to bowhunt out of. I'm going to be hunting management areas and I plan on doing some hiking. Any suggestions?

Summit Viper Elite - Absolute best treestand I've ever owned. Bought it last season and it is very lite, climbs easy and easy to put on the tree. I've never used a viper elite but that's what I would get if I were in the market for one. Another good option is a summit open shot. I used one for years and it was my favorite bow hunting stand.

I've been looking at the viper elite and the razor SD. I think I'm going to try out the viper.

I have the Vipers big brother the Goliath. Very comfortable.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I had a razor and wasn't a big fan of it. I have 2 vipers and a Goliath and love them!

I have a Lone Wolf Sit and Climb. If you want light.....it is that. I wouldn't imagine it would be very comfortable for someone much over 200lbs though

Summit Viper. Got mine a month or so ago and packed it into the Goldsmith Schiffman Wildlife Preserve to test it out. Went 45 ft up a tree lickety split and I've never been in a stand before. My only gripe is the pack harness that comes with it. Get the upgraded shoulder straps with more padding. I did that and I love the danged thing ...
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...

I'm also looking at a X1 Xstand. It weighs 11 lbs.
