Rut is the same around new years day through the 10th in the places I hunt in north perry co and in blount co may be different where u are

Come out of tophat take a left and go a few miles and take a right and immediately go over the railroad tracts

I watched a small rack buck freshen up a scrape during Christmas break on my parents land in Smokerise. No chasing noticed, but the scrapes were very active. Hope this helps.

i know exactly where you are talking about. on the side of the tracks closer to the top hat, the peak of the rut is on december 27th at 3:54 pm but on the other side of the tracks it is february 5th at 10:27 am.
