Freezer long term (i.e. in between seasons) after being totally dry. For day in and day out usage throughout the season, I let mine soak in a mixture of half and half water and listerine mouth wash for about 10 minutes and them put them in the refrigerator still moist until the following morning.

I leave mine in my mouth call case all year then get them out and use them the next year or make some more.
LOL

LOL That's what I normally do. I did put a few in the fridge that I liked from last year and it kept them pretty well. I'll still make some new ones before season.

I rinse mine in a little mouthwash and put 'em in the fridge. I typically have more calls than food in there...go figure...

Im storing mine in my wifes underwear drawer. I thought about that, but thought you might get suspicious.

Im storing mine in my wifes underwear drawer. I thought about that, but thought you might get suspicious. Depends on how big the drawers are and how much she lets him look in them.

I would be very careful soaking a mouth call in anything very long nowadays. I have read where lots of callmakers are having trouble with this years tape. It seems to be not sticking to the frame very good. And most everybody gets it from the same place so chances are, there's a lot of it out there. I rinse mine off with water and pat it dry and stick it in the freezer everyday when I get through hunting and they stay in there the entire offseason.
