i've got some old realtree (30years) that was made with lots of bright green leaves but can not find anything new that's even comes close.....if it were up to me, the pattern would be 80% green and less bark and leaves. anything new out there that you can recommend?

Shouldn't be hard finding something green. I've noticed almost everything besides bottomland is green and I hate it. Just personal preference I guess, but I like a good breakup, but still dark. I like Bottom land too but I am hesitant to use it around all the pines I hunt. Do you hunt with it in all situations?

I like Bottom land too but I am hesitant to use it around all the pines I hunt. Bottomland disappears against pine tree bark. Nothing better than bottomland in the piney woods, especially after a burn. All I hunt is piney woods and I wear bottomland half the season then obsession the latter part of the season when the underbrush greens up a bit.

Yall are teaching me something. I have never bought any because I thought it looked like a strictly hardwood pattern and it would seem out of place in the piney woods. I guess that's just a misconception on my part.

I personally feel like the bottomland is better for everything. i like break up and obsession too.
Really dont care for anything realtree. I like the older shadowleaf.

I'm sure there are places around the country and state where having on a bunch of green will make you disappear, but 95% of the time that we're working a turkey up here, before or after greenup, we're leaning against a tree. Nothing better than the older Mossy Oak patterns (Bottomland, Shadow Branch, Treestand) for disappearing in that situation. I do have to admit that Ultimate Camo is bad to the bone too though!
