You couldn't pay me to climb a tree today. Just never had the urge to be in a tree when it blows over. Deer ought to be running all over the place this evening once the cold front passes. A buddy of money is in a box stand in loxley right now. He has seen 8 does so far.

Me and my dad walked some broom sage fields this morning. Did see anything but found this big 7 on a creek bank in the middle of our property. I had him on camera earlier this year. Sucks to walk up on a good one lime that.

The world needs more people holding deer in pictures, and less people holding cameras in front of mirrors.

I hope you all are still "live" from the tree. It takes a real dedicated hunter to be out there this morning where I hunt.

I've been in box house 20 min here in Dallas Cty. I got soaked walking in but wanted to be here when rain stopped. Rain just quit and 4 deer are on the field. It should be a great afternoon with the big drop in temp and rain moving out. They should be really hungry.

I got rained out of work today so I decided to sneak one last hunt in. Good luck to everyone hunting this afternoon.

In a shooting house. Saw 3 does in a plot visible from the road..but none in this one yet. I assume activity should pick up soon.

Between 2 hunters, we saw one doe fawn and a pile of turkeys...The weather began to break about 4 and sunshine started peeking through the clouds, but it got cloudy again and ended up raining til dark. It was a very poor afternoon for deer movement at the farm. Maybe tomorrow...
