I have been all over Walker and Winston County. If that isn't backwoods, I don't know what it. X2
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

Lower Peach Tree. The natives can get restless, if you know what I mean. That is like the country ghetto. Driving through there reminds me of the movie "Vacation". Roll em up!!

My boys play HS Football. After away games my wife and I listen to the score updates on the radio on the way home.
There is a place called Sweetwater somewhere on the west side of the state. They have a 1 or 2A football team that will put a number on many teams several classes up. I have heard things like 63-0 at Halftime and 3 years no losses. Incredible football program. Over the years I have asked how they do it and I have been told every male student tries to get on the football team. That is Unreal and not like most any other place in Alabama.
. Sweetwater isn't really backwoods. It is just little and dark. I consider backwoods the type place where people never leave, there are no highways in or out and over half the people are living without running water or power. You know the houses that you can see light through the cracks in the walls at night.

No where near as bad as Grittney, AL. True that. I went to school with some Grittney and Alma residents. Two sisters, both had 6 toes on each foot.
