I think skunks must mate in February. IIRC that's when I see so many run over.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

yes semihibernate,I think if you will notice, there seems to be more skunks out and about after a big rain event, could be flooding there dens. maybe that explains seeing alot of skunk road kill in january? back to the deer road kill in rut time, i see many more does than bucks run over. is that just a function of the doe/buck ratio or maybe partially cause the buck is chasing and applies the brakes when he sees his wanna be mate kiss the bumper?
