got up extra early this morning to head to the woods for a nice morning hunt before the rain. My buddy picked me up at 3:30 and drove for 15 minuyes and the fog was getting thicker the further we drove. 20 minutes into the drive we said screw it! I hope the rain holds off so i can try again this afternoon. Now its time to go lay back down and stare at the ceiling. On the bright side i guess i will take the wife and kid to breakfast.

Its raining buckets where I am. I'm already in a blind watching a logging road crossing. The way its raining it'll be another hour before I'll be able to see to shoot

Fog! It's raining too hard in Jackson County to be foggy. Liquid fog I guess. laugh

All I had to worry about was the trees in the river with this high tide. Otherwise it has been pleasant....and slow

I shot the biggest buck of my life 30 yards away in the fog. That's as far as I could see was 30 yards.

JSH theres nothing to worry about now,not like there was when they were logging the delta with helicopters. The rivers and creeks were full on moving deadheads.

I shot one in the fog on Thursday morning-- it looked like I had fired black powder-- the gun smoke just billowed out in front of me and hung there in a cloud, then slowly spread and drifted enough I could see the deer down. Never saw that effect before--I guess the moisture was condensing on the gas particles-- that is some high humidity!!
