Figure out the best access to those stand sites without disturbing the area. Keep the predominant wind directions in mind and have two or three stand sites for different winds. If the wind isn't favorable then stay out of there.

Some good advice ^^^, when you find one of those can't miss edges/structure/pinch points it will probably have multi trails coming together like a wagon wheel. Put up or have 2 stand sites for different winds, more than one approach is good too.
Keep the area quite,don't over hunt a spot, hunt smart. I've been chasing whitetails for about 40 years and the past few years I've come to believe keeping the area quite and not hunting a spot where you expect to kill a mature buck till "the time is right" is the most overlooked thing hunters do. This doesn't mean don't hunt till rut,just have a couple places in mind and stay away till pre-breeding/breeding. This can be hard on a small property though. If you are after mature bucks, they MUST feel comfortable or they won't move in daylight.

Look for edges,structure and pinch points. Good spots are where two timber types meet, say pines meet hardwoods or cut hardwoods meet un-cut; thats an edge. Hog back ridges,points saddles; structure. Saddles, where timber necks down,two large pieces of timber with a small one connecting them, where the creek makes a bend; pinch point. The best is to find all of these in one spot.
