no i was trying to get opinions on the both of them....i am kinda new to bowhunting and i can get both of them for the same price the z7 is slightly used and belongs to a friend....the crossbow will be new.....I am just a little torn in the deciding factor

Purely subjective IMO. The assassin does not shoot like an insanity nor does the draw cycle feel as smooth as a Z7 of any variant.

Your better off with the vertical compound. However, expect to spend countless hours shooting your new addiction, browsing for new accessories, looking at what I call "bow porn" or archerytalk.com, and recreating any shooting senario possible with the exception of the one senario that you will actually be in when the time comes to shoot that deer.
