1. Dye is not pulling the strings as some suggest. Just consider him your crazy, drunk uncle. Last I checked, Mal Moore is the AD at bama...where he coached under Bryant. The GOB network is everywhere.
2. Ethridge is supremely qualified....unlike that idiot Jacobs

Doesn't appear to be the type person, that would hire Petrino.
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

Six Sigma is great if you are building vacuum cleaners. It's probably pretty good if you are building a football team to suck too.
He needs to come in and hire a football coach and let him coach while he directs the athletic department.
Don't let life get in the way of living

Well, if they're hiring an AD...chiz is gone. This is the sign i was watching for. There was no sense in firing the coach and having the AD that hired him remain. a la Croom at MSU.

Don't they have an AD already? I assumed that Ethridge would be hired after jacobs was fired. I do not see them firing chiz first. That was the reasoning of my first post. The tell tell sign that chiz is gone will be the firing of jacobs.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Doesn't dye still have an office on campus? I have also heard that they have recruiting dinners at his farm..and if any good ol country boys are being recruited...can actually do some hunting.
