You need to wait until about the third heat to breed her that way you wont get arrested for statutory dog rape.Even if she does look old enough now it is still your responsibility to make the right decision.

Lots of options and opinions on breeding dogs. Best advice is to only breed in order to better the breed. Consider health, temperament, form, function, and the breed standard set by the parent dog club

Bella is a beautiful well mannered great tempered dog. She is more of a companion/ kid to me. But she will benefit from having one litter of pups and then gettin spayed. She has always been on time with her shots and check ups as a good friend of mine runs a very nice vet clinic in auburn. And on the topic of responsibility of breeding. I am I guess a dog snob when it comes to boxers. I have always had them. Before I joined the army I traveled around the country building commercial dog kennels for humane societies ASPCA's private vets. And some breeders in New York as we'll as a dog training facility in Woodstock ct where they train ATF and TSA dogs. So along my travels I have learned a lot about the breed and dogs in general. A breeder in upstate New York who has had 3 Westminster champion

Boxers. Taught me a lot about the breed as far as history things to look for. The truth about white boxers. And how they happen. The common misconception about them is that they are the rarest of boxers an therefore most valuable. Not true! White boxers are a result of bad genes and bloodlines too close together ( also how we got TC :-) ) the problems with white boxers and however it does not always happen instantly it generally always does. They usually are either blind in one eye or both. Or deaf in one ear or both. Have a lot more hip issues and suffer from cancer of the stomach earlier in life. Boxers number one health problem is Hip displaysia the best way however to prevent this is to grow them slow. And by that I mean switching them to adult food at around 3-4 months over a month long timeframe. And this allows there muscles to grow into there bones and keeping them having healthier joints. Boxers number one personality trait is being skiddish. If you spank or firmly discipline a boxer within the first 10 days of having it you will ruin the dogs and it will be forever skiddish. Another thing is that people think it is cruel to have a boxers ears done when it is healthier for them because of that is what they were bred to have. And therefore if you don't they are much more prone to eat infections. Now Bella my female didnt get her ears done and she is my first boxer to not have them done. The only reason I didn't is because she looked so darn cute and my wife wouldn't let me do it. So I apologize for the long posts. But I wanted everyone to understand what I do and I have put many years into these dogs into their training discipline and quality of life. That is why I want to breed her with another either male brindle reverse brindle black or mainly fawn boxer.

I lost my first Boxer Kira due to complications after giving birth of her 2nd litter. I miss that dog to this day. I have had 3 Boxers and currently have one that is the best one Ive had. Heres a pic of Kira.

I actually been raising boxers for about 7 years now.I know the health issues of white boxers are increased and I know there not rare. When I bought her I done it for 1 reason.I wanted puppys with alotta white on em.That's part of my income is selling puppys which has slowed way down recently cause I haven't had time so I wanted the best looking puppys possible. This last litter she had I sold the pups for 425 a piece and even sold one that I planned on keeping for 500 but he was a stud.Biggest puppy in the litter. He was twice as big as the rest and had a white collar around his neck and alotta white on his face.Boxers in my opinion are the best dogs you can have although I am partial to em since I've had about 7 of em over the years.Good luck finding a male to breed yours with. She's a pretty dog.

duckkiller...good stuff. More people need to be as knowledgeable and as focused on the good of their respective breed as you are on boxers. There are so many breeds that have been ruined or are in the process of being ruined by irresponsible, uninformed breeders.
Our family has Norwegian Elkhounds and we are very active in the "dog community". So I understand your passion for your breed. Boxers are cool dogs!

We had a spayed female brindle with black mask boxer for 12 years. We absolutely loved that dog! Had to put her down because of hip problems. RIP Casey.
If anyone has a brindle female pup for sale nearby, please let me know.

Beautiful dogs guys! My neighbor across the field behind me has one. Big, goofy and sweet as can be. My pug tries to go "play" with him. I always know when he has cause he comes back fully covered in slobber and snot.

Yeah I am more of a fan of the German side boxers because of the head shape. An the likely hood of having an all black boxer in the litter. Ill take a pic of her later with her full body she is what you would call a "flashy" boxer. But yeah if you guys come across someone with a male boxer I would love to interview both the dog and owner and see about breeding them. I will be asking around 500 for the pups because of Bella's size and her amazon temperament. And of course they will all come with their first round of shots dew claws removed an tail cropped.
