Hey all, I've just gotten back from a successful elk hunt and I'm looking for someone to do a european mount. I've done deer before and it turned out good, but it took a lot of time to do and I just don't have anything big enough to accommodate an elk skull. For me, it's worth it to pay someone to do it up to a certain point (looking for someone to do it less than $150). I'm in smiths station, so hopefully ya'll can point me in the right direction to someone who does quality euro mounts. Thanks in advance for your help.

Too big for my equipment. Beetles would probably be best. Not sure who in your area uses them.

One day I am going to head out west and hunt an Elk. Post some pics if you get a chance.

I guess I'll throw this out there as well... I found a huge bull that looked like it may have been shot and not recovered last year. Anyways, it scores 320"+ and I'm interested in getting it restored. Skullworks, do you or anybody you know restore/repair damaged antlers? I'm most interested in getting the chew marks fixed up, but I'd also entertain the idea of having them stained back to their original color if I found someone that knew what they were doing. Any idea what it would cost just to patch up the chew marks? What about staining?

Good Looking bull! Is that an Alpine bow? Thanks...not an Alpine, it's a Hoyt CRX32

I don't do antler repair. Most places charge around $10 an inch to repair. Not sure on the stain. You need to PM Artistic Whitetails on here. He can probably do it.
