Biden wants 25% of UNREALIZED gains, along with the 44.6% Capital gains he proposed yesterday.

If they manage to pass this, then everybody will have to find another way to invest or just dont invest at all.

So, Roth IRAs are excluded from unrealized gains?

How the hell do you get 25% of an unknown? Or does that mean 25% of what is showing as a gain that you aren't taking yet?

If that crap passes, they may find themselves across the FAFO line.

Or, how about we stop giving money to countries that don’t start with USA and have a balanced budget with what money we have coming in…..

Yeah that will never happen because they can't skim off the top when they ship Israel a boat load of our tax money. But since the man made bible said to protect Israel, they gladly support it. Religion is the biggest scam in history and this is the perfect example.

At some point they will push the citizens far enough that the country is retaken with violence.

The 25% tax on unrealized gains is for people with over $100 million of wealth. I'm betting none of us fall into that category. One tax that may affect us directly is a capital gains tax on transferred assets to a family when the parents die. I don't know any details on that though.

We already pay the state of Alabama a tax on unrealized gains. It is called the property tax.

One would hope so but this country is made up of pansies now and we don’t have the stomach for it.

I think they have the stomach for protesting/violence if pushed to the edge BUT, 99% won't take a day off work to rally and show numbers on a state capitols steps so, it's really not that important to them IMO.

Correct. And that is the excuse that they are using for a tax on unrealized investment gains.
