They are wanting the Flora-Bama to use rubber fish at the mullet toss this weekend. The way it sounded, they are using a line from BhamFred’s words of wisdom.

Just tell PETA the Mullet Toss has been moved to Memorial Day weekend at Pensacola Beach. Why? ummm the Alabama Department of Conservation says the mullet toss is over the daily creel limit, so its been moved to Florida. laugh

Over the last 35 years they’ve been in my store twice. The first time I told them to leave but I had a plan if they ever came back. Several years later they came back. I said wait a minute, then walked into the live bait room, scooped up a dozen or so shrimp, came out, put the net in front of them and stomped them to nothing. Looked at the people and said, DID YOU HEAR THEM SCREAMING, I DIDN’T!!! The look on their faces was priceless.

You could have followed that up with "Hang on I'll be right back! We use kittens for bait too, I'll go get some".

You should have had a recording playing of "Don't stomp me bro" while you were doing it..

How dare they abuse the corpses of those poor dead mullet!! If I were a mullet I’d rather star in the mullet toss vs getting eaten by Laquita at Chet’s.

Many years ago when I was younger and hung out down there sometimes, Kenny (the Snake) Stabler showed up at the mullet toss. He lived on Ono Island, and is from Foley. He didn't enter the competition, but slung the $hit out of a mullet. Funny as hell.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

They said mullet was full of mercury. Ifn that is the case, we will all die. I'll just wait for Troy's answer.

Are we brothers?!

Which store is yours? I’m shopping at your store the next time I’m down there.

The local news reported that they also offered to cater the event with vegan options in order to remove fish from the menu ... LOL
