Started to just message Irishguy but thought some of you fellow non sofisticates might have a good idea too.

Not gonna sip whiskey with it but want to try sitting on the back porch and smoking a cigar once a week just to wind down. Blow off some steam. What’s a good mellow starter cigar?

Last time I tried one, I think it was when I was 14. It was a Swisher Sweet. LOL

When i smoked Grape Swisher was my go too. So I'm no help. HOWEVER will say I'll never understand why some folks insist on Smoking cigars that smell like pure Chit!

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne is a good one. Its a mild Connecticut so it wont be harsh. I smoke about 1 a week. Get a cutter and a torch lighter. The key to a good cigar is to not let it get too hot or it will taste like crap. Light it evenly and take a puff about every 45 secs or a bit longer. Dont inhale or flick the ash.Purge(blow our on it) every once in a while. Their 20th Anniversary is good too. Everything you need to know about proper cigar smoking you can find on line.

Skip the cheapo flavored crap. I'd go to a cigar/tobacco shop and tell them what your looking for. There's about a million choices. I smoked cigars for about40vyears or so. Quit cold turkey when I was diagnosed with tongue cancer a couple of years ago.The cancer was not smoking related but I beat it and didn't want to press my luck. Not a day goes by that I don't think about smoking a good cigar.

Plz don’t smoke. I smoked for 30 years. Quit 10 years ago. Don’t miss it.

Drink a really good glass of red wine instead of smoking a cigar.

Trader Jacks are good if you can find them.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Thank y'all for worrying about me. Smoking one cigar per week is not going hurt me in any way.. I'm not rolling up a joint either.

Irishguy, what's your recommendation?
